James has more than twenty years of experience, has worked in firms of varying sizes during his career, and found a home at Stannards due to the firm's focus on personal relationships, as this allows output to be focused on each client’s needs.James was driven towards accounting, and audit in particular, by the opportunity to develop an understanding of the strategy and ongoing operations of a range of businesses. This understanding includes identifying business and financial reporting risks and understanding the processes in place to document and mitigate such risks. He is logic-minded and thrives on providing practical solutions to issues faced.James maintains a key interest in the changing business environment and is passionate about using data analysis to identify and understand both positive and negative aspects present in a business’s ongoing operations.
